As a fellow average person wanting to be a writer, this particularly resonated with me.
When there are tens (hundreds?) of thousands of professional writers around the world and you’ve spent your life not being a writer, the shift in your life often leaves others dubitative in some sort.
Finding the power to say “I can’t. I have to write.” is not only difficult, it sometimes feels like an excuse.
When it all comes to it though, just as you said, we need to be the first ones who should believe we’re writers. It all starts there, doesn’t it?
