Beat Procrastination And Raise Your Creativity With a Simple Action
All it takes is a change of air
For the first time in over a year, I’m writing at a coffee shop.
I’m looking at the four musicians having a chat with a beer at 11:00 am. Next to them, a guy checks out his hairstyle by using his phone camera while the woman he’s with is talking about their upcoming project for work. Two people next to me are typing away while a third person is eating in front of Netflix.
The lack of variety in my personal life these past few weeks has taken a toll on my creativity. I’ve struggled to find original ideas despite having crushed it for months. I’ve felt unmotivated to study languages despite loving them.
Looking at other people while I type my thoughts makes me happy. I’m slowly getting entranced by the ideas rushing back. I remember why I used to write in coffee shops.
It’s one of the best ways to gain external motivation in a second.
Life is more than you
We spend our lives focused on ourselves. Whether we do it by choice or not, we think we’re the center of the world. How could we not? Everything we do involve, well, ourselves.
