How To Deal With Fear In Writing
As a rather new writer, I have regular troubles with both finding topics and choosing among a variety of topics.
Indeed, I find myself looking for topics and having troubles deciding on good potential topics. Yet, at the same time, I sometimes easily come up with certain topics in my head which would be of great interest to write about but scare the hell out of me.
I would say I have had a rather simple and standard life compared to many. But this doesn’t mean I didn’t have troubles, doubts, or simply strong experiences along the way.
Certain topics hit very close to my heart and I trust they could be of interest to others, but being afraid of sharing them has prevented me from writing about them.
Those topics are direct personal experiences at school, work, or even some of my previous relationships.
I am almost perfectly sure I am not the first one to have had those and won’t be the last so they could be of use to someone if not now, one day.
I am happy to consider myself as extremely transparent, honest with my thoughts both in real life and online.
However, there are still some aspects of my life I am not proud of, or others I am but which are too personal.
