Learning through podcasts is a very good technique indeed. I unfortunately don't know much about resources to learn Italian but, here's my advice:
If you're a beginner, get one random podcast in Italian to have in the background often (even if you don't understand a word but so you get used to the flow of the language) and one podcast for learners. The Coffee Break podcasts are quite nice normally so maybe the Italian version is too?
If you're at an intermediate or above level, listen to all sorts of topics and if possible find podcasts with transcripts so that once in a while you sit down to actually study an episode and learn even more.
Hope this helps!
