Regarding getting an app, I'd say it depends on your style.
If you prefer learning alone, you could use HiNative and send in recordings of you saying sentences in Spanish so native speakers correct your pronunciation (for free).
If you're up for talking with actual people, you can use apps like HelloTalk or Tandem (not a big fan personally but that's because I'm very introverted).
If you want something in-between, Slowly is an app to chat with people but messages take time to reach the interlocutor so you can still have conversations without stopping living your life (Slowly can have audio messages if the interlocutor accepts).
