Yes, this was a decision I made in writing this piece because I grew up in a monolingual environment and cannot talk for sure about those who grew up multilingual. I have seen that most people who grew up multilingual kept a sort of attraction towards language-learning but I may have been wrong on that.

Regarding the risk of mixing, I’ve mentioned it in some other stories I wrote (such as this one), but I didn’t feel the need to mention it here. Yes, it is definitely a risk but I believe it’s one that can go away with enough practice and exposure.
