With most things, it’s easy to let the money get to your head but staying true to yourself and focusing on your craft certainly is what got you here and will get you further.

I just made 14 bucks last month through Medium and while it’s nothing, it really helps to see little progress as time passes by. You’re entirely right: just making $10 makes you a paid writer.

For anybody who never thought they could make money writing, the mental shift is incredible!
