Thanks for your response, Kim! I learned Japanese and Korean pretty much at the same time. I did start Japanese earlier but not in a very intense way. It was when I started learning Korean that I really started being serious about language-learning.

Since then, I’ve always been studying at least two languages at the same time. Putting the emphasis on one while I work on gradually improving the others.

I think learning 2 languages at once is definitely a great challenge to take on. There’ll always be one which will receive more love from you, but the two languages don’t have to be at the same level after all.

The trick is to always stay consistent in the end. Whether it’s for 1, 2, or more languages, studying every day really is the most important.
