While I haven't lived it directly myself, I know many people who have in different ways Asian, Arab, and Black people around me all suffered different kinds of racism. I don't claim to understand fully what they (and many others) went through.

I only meant that the pain I suffered at that time already felt too strong and I understood it was probably much more awful than I previously realized for people of color in France.
